What couples ask first.

Do I need a consultant or lawyer?

No. You can apply on your own.

Inland or outland, which one is mine?

Both use the same forms, and you choose on IMM 1344. Inland is for couples living together in Canada, and the applicant stays in Canada while it’s processed. Outland works wherever the applicant lives, and a refusal can be appealed.

Which forms does OpenVisa prepare?

IMM 1344 and IMM 5532 as PDFs you upload. IMM 0008, IMM 5406, IMM 5562 and IMM 5669 are filled in the PR Portal by our Chrome extension.

Can we fill it in at different times?

Yes. Each of you answers your own part when it suits you. Sign in to keep your answers on more than one device.
