IMM 1344 and IMM 5532 are PDFs you sign and upload, along with the document checklist; IMM 0008, IMM 5406, IMM 5669 and, if it applies, IMM 5562 are typed into the Permanent Residence Portal.
1. Which forms are PDFs you upload?

2. Which forms are filled in the PR portal?

You must fill out these forms within the portal. Do not fill out the PDF form.
These are typed into the PR portal, so there is no PDF to sign; the PR portal records your declaration when you submit.
3. What else goes in the package?
Documents, not forms: the marriage certificate or the common-law proof, passports, photos, police certificates, proof of the sponsor's status, proof of relationship, and the fee receipt. The checklist (IMM 5533 for spouses, IMM 5589 for common-law partners) lists them in order.
4. On the form
The PDFs are uploaded as signed files; the portal forms are typed in and declared when you submit. OpenVisa produces IMM 1344 and IMM 5532 as filled PDFs that you print to PDF and sign, and shows your answers for IMM 0008, IMM 5406, IMM 5562 and IMM 5669 for copying; the Chrome extension can fill them in the Permanent Residence Portal.
